Great Flap Book for LIttle Ones
I absolutely love this book! I bought it for my 14mo old after seeing how much she loved her older brothers' lift-the-flap books. She was way to rough to be able to play with the older kids books, so when I saw this one I just had to get it. She loves it and I love that she gets to help open the flaps. It's really sturdy, and its small size makes it so easy to toss in a purse or bag for on-the-go entertainment. I've since ordered more chunky flap books, and have been searching for more.

Yes, We LOVE Green Eggs and Ham, Sam I Am!
Our first grade teacher, Mrs. Evatt, introduced our class to this Dr. Seuss book during our Dr. Seuss week. As a class we voted to rate this book with 5 stars because it was one of our very favorites. Dylan loves this book because of the ending. He really liked it when the main character finally tried green eggs and ham and told Sam that he does like them. Abby loves this book because Sam I Am asks the main character over and over if he likes green eggs and ham in all of the different places. Ty loves this book because the main character is pretty funny when he does not like green eggs and ham. He says, "I do not like them, Sam I Am, I do not like green eggs and ham!" We all love this book for many reasons... the colorful illustrations, the rhyming words, the funny characters, and Dr. Seuss's amazing style. We would highly recommend this book to a friend.

Good books for early readers
I bought these for my 6 year old son after reading the positive reviews here on amazon. My son really, really enjoyed all of the books. They are intriguing stories with plenty of excitement, mystery and action--enough to keep me interested and wondering what would happen next. However, I would prefer that Osborne had written them with correct sentence structure--there are a lot of sentence fragments, as well as sentences starting with "and" or "but." My son gets confused at times with the fragments, which could affect his comprehension if I wasn't there to clarify it for him. Kids are learning proper sentence structure in school, so books--at least those for early readers--really should follow the rules of English. Kids are very smart. They don't need their stories to be "dumbed down." That said, we really like the stories, and I'll keep buying them--and deal with the occasional need to explain oddly structured sentences.
