The lake stolen children by Douglas Glenn Clark is beautiful with a literary flair, hearken back to our memories of the coveted nursery rhymes written. In many ways it reminds me of Hansel and Gretel, which takes off from home and encounters - The Witch!
Only in this story, it isthe father, that learns the most!
You see, Cal was a fisherman, although he loved his children very much, had strict and demanding the complete obedience. Thus, when his two children, Tilly and Tyler, fishing, it was a time to learn, rather than enjoying the experience and fun to have them. So Tilly Tyler still does not catch any fish, but would be decided one night Tyler, that he knew how to use his father's big fishing rod, and he left to go to fishalone.
After many failed attempts, Tyler was finally able to have the fishing line to go far into the lake. Soon there was a tug on his line! But the train was so great that Tyler was drawn right into the lake!
Morgan, Cal's wife was so unhappy, and they know Cal guilt for what happened is that he was strict with his children. Trying to help Cal to get from the neighbors, however, had other children who have disappeared was and they thought thatTyler had also drowned. But a couple other knew. They had been in the vicinity of the lake in search of her lost child out there and they had heard screaming kids!
Cal and Walter went out on the lake, trying to find their children. Cal wondered why she could not hear the children crying, and Walter said he had just heard, she was crying as he. Cal was so bad that even he was crying and when he heard the children, he knew only he could hear Tyler especiallythe rest.
He had no choice, he set out to find his son a night!
